Bill Would Limit Water Discharge
Permitting of Pesticides
Rep. Bob Gibbs (OH) introduced the
Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act of 2013 (H.R. 935). The bill
would limit permitting of discharges to water of
pesticides approved for use under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and
Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The bill modifies provisions of that act and the Federal
Water Pollution Control Act.
