House Passes Appropriations Bill

The House of Representatives has passed a continuing appropriations bill (H.R. 1) to cover the rest of the current fiscal year. In addition to providing appropriations for all agencies, it modifies stimulus funding that was provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). All ARRA funds not obligated by February 11, 2011, would be rescinded except for those related to accountability. ARRA funds would no longer be available for signage indentifying ARRA projects.
