America’s water infrastructure has been getting a lot of attention in the news and blogs lately. Possibly this is sparked by the introduction of the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Investment Act of 2010 (S. 3262). The bill would remove the cap on private activity bonds for water and sewer facilities, making tax-exempt financing more available to investor-owned utilities.
