Governors Ask for Infrastructure Support

We’ve already written a post on the National Governor’s Association meeting earlier this month in which governors asked for over $136 billion in additional assistance from the incoming administration of President-elect Barack Obama. A significant portion of this may be directed to infrastructure projects, particularly transportation. The governors are claiming that investments in infrastructure will create jobs and stimulate the economy.
