There are a lot of lawsuits over water among
the western states.
Texas is involved
in a few, one
with New
Mexico and another with Oklahoma.
State Rep. Lyle Larson has introduced a bill in the Texas Legislature
to create a Southwest States Water Commission.
This commission would be a state agency assigned to work with
neighboring states to secure water.
