Rep. Steve Pearce (New Mexico) has introduced `Funding a Clean Energy Future By Bringing Lower Gas Prices for Americans Today Act of 2008' (H.R. 6301). The bill appears to give more authority to states in relation to minerals management in coastal waters and to ease some requirements for exploration.
