Bill Introduced to Study Climate Change Effects on Water Resources and Quality
Representative John J. Hall (New York, 19th District) has introduced a bill (H.R. 5770) that would require the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Academy of Sciences to study the potential effects of climate change on water resources and water quality. The study would be completed within two years of passage of the bill. The bill authorizes appropriation of $1.5 million to implement the act.
