The
Water Partnership for Northwest Missouri has issued a
report on the first stages of its effort to find solutions for drinking water needs in the 12-county region. Regionalization is generally a difficult and sensitive issue and it has taken over 2 years for the members of the partnership to find a plan they could agree on. Check out the report to see how they did it and maybe a model of how it can be done elsewhere, especially with active support from a state drinking water or water resources agency (in this case the
Missouri Department of Natural Resources).
